Happy Dancing!!

I would like to inform any peeps who reads this that i just got accepted to Evans Hairstyling College and couldnt be more excited! i dont think that most people understand how happy i am! why? well let me just tell you my little journey. It all started back in high school. My parents always pushed me to have good grades in school. And i did try my hardest in school. Some days i admit...i slacked off and would sluff with my friends Kendal and Katie. but, i always kept my attendance up and i kept my grades up as much as i could, however, i truely was one that struggled in school. and from day one. i would study and study and study for tests and would end up failing every one of them, well, you guys that know how school works, tests were like at least 80% of your overall grade. so yep. i barely made it through most of my classes. i failed my english class my junior year and had to make it up by doing summer school at central in order to go on to my senior year. i failed one of my math classes and had to retake it and passed the second class just barely with a D. I took the ACT and did absolutely horrible! so bad that im not telling anybody my score. lets say it was so bad that, i did not get accepted to BYU-I, ISU, or EITC. and those are the colleges that around here and that are easiest to get into. so once i knew i couldnt get accepted anywhere i instantly felt like a failure and selfish towards caleb for not even going to school, and you know how people are anymore...anytime you run into anybody the first question asked is, "so are you going to school?" and my response every time was "No not yet" which was hard to say because then i instantly felt judged because thats basically the next step out of high school. so after thinking long and hard i decided to go to hair school. i know the money isnt fantastic but atleast its not just sitting at home twiddling my thumbs. Im at least trying! and I am actually thrilled to start school and actually move on with my life with this next step coming up. Ive always loved doing hair and nails and i couldnt be more excited to start. ive just been happy dancing all day! so, congrats to me!! im proud of myself! :D

..Cali Vaca..

Our California vacation! oh where to begin! We left Friday the 9th and drove ALL the way to Vegas. Long time driving? yes. very much so. We stayed the night at Calebs adorable Cousin nikkis home. Which was very beautiful.  Her porch had the view of vegas and the strip which was neat to see. Then Saturday morning we got up and finished our drive to Anaheim. We drove to the wrong hotel and tried to check in....yeeeah..embarrassing moment there. ha but, we did find our hotel. we went and got some groceries and then just relaxed. Sunday-Disneyland. Monday. Beach and Medieval times. Tuesday-Disneyland. Wednesday-Relaxed, Bought suveneers (Sp?) Ate Micky D's. Thursday-Disneyland. Friday- Drove alllllll the way to Salt Lake and stayed the night with my cousin Shari at her cute little place. Saturday-drove home. there is seriously NO place like home.

We had many pillow fights and tears from laughing so hard.  I do love vacations and they are so nice to get away from everything and just have some fun, but there is seriously NO place like home! ha and no place like rexburg. im not one thats itching to get outta here. we love it here. we love the city and the people. its a nice place. This vacation was muchly needed and we're so happy we got the opportunity to go. I now am a Pro at driving 8 lane highways and caleb is an excellent navigator. we make a great team :) anyways...here are some pictures from our vacation!
