down to the river bottoms :)

today was such a good day. me and caleb both had a rough day yesterday. so it was nice to have a good day again. we slept in, went to church, and the meetings were awesome. it was a good church day :) and then we went to my parents to have dinner. My brother and his wife were also there and it had been a few months since ive seen them because he was doing his internship in Seattle. so yeah. family reunites! i cut both my sisters hair and then me and caleb got bored. ha so we decided to go down to the river bottoms. this spot is where me and caleb would go like EVERY day all through our dating times. we absolutely love it there. when the water is high we sit on the dock and wade our feet and when its low we'll go skip rocks. we go on walks through there, talk, enjoy the quiet, and enjoy eachother. i remember one time when we were dateing Caleb had picked me up from my house and we went down to the river and he surprised me with ice cream cake on the dock. haha such a cute man i married. anyways. here's a few that have been taken down at the river bottoms even during our dating times :)

how do people make it through life without a sister?

Today i was FINALLY feeling quite a bit better. thank the heavens above! and it was a gorgeous 80 degrees outside. so why not spend the day outside right? i knew that if i were to ask caleb to see if he wanted to go outside he'd probably say no (due to horendous allergies and he hates heat haha) so why make me suffer just because he doesnt want to. i call my sister to see if she wants to come over and of coarse she says yes. we ended up razor scootering around the park and just hangin out there. and now i look like a racoon because i had my sunglasses on. smarty pants me right? i love my sister. shes the best. i can talk to her about anything and everything. seriously though...how do people make it through life without a sister? because i know i sure wouldnt be able to...Love you Shandell!!

oh yeah! and i made these fabulous strawberry cheesecake bites. and i find myself that every time i pass our fridge i have to eat just one more :) mmm mmm mmm deeeliicouss!!

so today at school i was just thinkin bout what i had to do when i got home...do the HEAPING pile of dishes. (like heaping...as in...not one clean plate, fork, pan, griddle, baking dishes) it was bad. and then vacuume and take out the garbage and the bathroom was gettin bad too. well when i walk in i am overwhelmed with our candle burning instead of the dirty dishes smell, the floors had been vaccumed, garbages had been taken out, dishes had been done, bathroom had been deep cleaned, laundry had been done AND folded, bed was made, blankets on the couch were folded, and the pillows were on the couch where theyre supposed to go. what i nice guy i have right?! its so nice knowing now that i dont have to clean and that i can simply just relax! oh how he just knows exactly what he needs to do to make me happy. haha im so lucky to have him be allllll mine :)

friday the 13th....

rumors have been started at school...about me..awesome. :( i have been nothin but nice to ever single person there. now the news is is that im pregnant...even the instructors new and i didnt till today? seriously? thats not something to spread around to people. especially if you arent even sure its true. it amazes me what has been said to me and to my face..not gonna lie im kinda hurt by some people there and it makes me a bit skeptical of who i can really trust there.

on top of just that...just bad things happened to me all day today. 2 nasty PICKY haircuts. my instructor made a mistake on my sheet and now im even further behind because of it. i had to stay till almost 7 trying to catch up. havent seen my husband once today and wont be able to seeing he's at work...then i have school tomorrow...wont be able to see him till tomorrow night...ugh so far away. it was definately friday the 13th. whatever my way of coping is haveing a good melt down and inhaling little ceazers pizza and a cold mountain dew. whatever...tomorrows a new day and hopefully ill be super stong to make it a good one.

My spring break!

so for my spring break i got a grand total of today off...aint that just awesome!? no. ha but i will take any day off that i can get and today was just absolutely the best. i had such a fabulous day. it consisted of...

going to chuck-a-rama... (he can never just smile in a picture...he always has to be goofy)

then going to the mall and had some luck at rue 21! he bought a pair of jeans and i bought 2 new shirts and summer dress for school....then as we were driving over to the the greenbelt to feed the ducks i got pulled over and got a ticket for expired registration and no proof of insurance. grr!! there goes $200. but..you have to admit that being pulled over 14 times and this being my first ticket is a pretty nice record right!? hopefully it doesn't make our insurance sky rocket...anyways...then we continued on to the greenbelt where it was just perfect!! we took a few pictures, fed the ducks, and just enjoyed walking around. the weather was absolutely perfect. no wind, blue skies, and 65 degrees. here are a few pics from the greenbelt...

then after all these adventures it was time to grocery shop. gas up. and go home. we had a great day! i love my husband and the fact that we dont have to do anything spectacular and extravagant to have fun. we make the best of life and have a great time doing so! hope your spring break was as great as mine!!
