Driggs, Reunited, Family pictures

Yesterday, my mom invited me to go to the Huntsman fireworks with her, my dad, my brother, and sister. I had never been and wanted to go! So right after work I ran home, changed, grabbed some food real quick and left. It's about an hour drive. When we got there we were amazed with how many people there were. Last year they said there was over 20,000 people and I bet this year there was around 30,000 people.
This picture doesn't do it justice but there was TONS of people. We found a spot and and pretty much hung out. There was the Beach Boys playing live and that was fun. We listened, sat, relaxed, walked around, hung out, and froze our tooshys off.

At 10 o'clock is when they started the fireworks. And it was seriously THEEE best show I had ever seen. They beat Idaho Falls and theirs are good. I wish I got decent pictures of the big fireworks but was too busy watching them! During the show, music was playing, and they  had like 10 second clips involving the 4th of July.

I totally wish Caleb would have been able to come. (lame work :( ) But I told him we were both going next year for sure! After the show we wanted to try and beat traffic as much as we could. So we basically grabbed everything and speedily walked to our car. I don't even know why we tried. We didn't move at all for an hour. It took and hour and a half to even get out of the parking lot. I got home a little after 1. It was TOTALLY worth the long drive home and weasiling your way through traffic. Definitely go if you haven't before! You won't regret it!

And now that it's Sunday, me and Caleb are FINNALLLLY reunited! It has been one long month of hardly seeing each other AT ALL. Now he is kinda sorta back to his normalish schedule. Better than it has been anyways. So for today, I have been LOVIN simply having him home. Its been a netflix, snuggling, kind of day.

Also today, while we had a day to do so, we went and did some family pictures. I had my sister Kristie take them. Nothing professional but they turned out pretty good! I absolutely LOVE pictures. I love to see how much we change over a course of years. They are fun to look back on. I also love pictures in my home. They are everywhere in our little apartment. And some need updated. haha anyways, here are some we took!

While we were on this dock, Kristie screams and I look over and there's a snake that swam out from under the dock. I FREEEEAAKKKED out. I was about in tears. I don't know why god created those little pukes. Hate em.

Change is awesome and hard

So now that it's basically happened, I can talk about it more openly now. Caleb got quite the promotion at Big Juds. The restaurant is under different owners now so Caleb has now been bumped up to the general manager. It's pretty much all under him now. So that has been awesome! It's been nice to have a drive with his work and know that it's going somewhere. Since all the changes, Caleb hasn't been home AT ALL. He's been working like 16+ hour days. Between work, school, work meetings literally every day, and now remodeling the place, he's been there every day of the week including Sunday and has been gone early in the morning and hasn't been home till at least 2 in the morning. Last night it was 4:30 in the morning. He had put in 20 hours yesterday. As great as it all is it's seriously been a doozy for me. I miss my husband BAAAAD. I really have a hard time with change and i'm not a fan of being home alone trying to sleep without anyone here. So I seriously just put on one of his hoodies, and wait up and watch netflix because I can't sleep. I think i've only gotten like 5 hours of sleep a night, which for me is NOT ok. If you know me at all, I need AT LEAST 8 hours to function and if you want me a happy camper It's got to be 11-12 hours of sleep. I am totally one of those annoying girls that whine about their husbands being gone all the time and that I never see him. But anyone that's in love would have to agree I would think. Times like this make me think a lot more about how hard it would be to be a military wife or a truck drivers wife. I truly could not handle having a husband be gone that much and be ok. Bless those women's hearts that have to go through that. I am grateful that my family is close so that I can go out there when I'm a bit lonely. I will be glad when the remodel is done, and when things get back to normal and back to our normal schedules.

Although it's tough, I am grateful and proud! I'm thankful for his hard work to support us. Thanks babe. Love you and miss you like cRaZy!

In the meantime of it all....

I no longer babysit this bebes. :( And im kind of sad! I miss her. She was the one baby that actually loved me, would snuggle, and sleep in my arms. I miss that!

Libbie got groomed. AGAIN. I swear that dogs fur grows like weeds.

The times I'm at my parents I usually end up on the dirt bike and go riding. Last week me, my brother and sister, and her friend rode to cress creek. Its one of my favorite routes that's closeish.

And today at work, one of my nail clients wanted 4th of July nails. I was happy with how they turned out!

Finally!!!

Today both me and Caleb didn't have work and my work meeting got canceled. So that means we FINALLLLY had a day off to ourselves. No work, meetings, church, family things, nothin. To start we did have to go out to Caleb's work for like an hour to do the order, then we went to the bank, grocery shopped, and went shopping. Caleb was desperate for some new work clothes. We ended up going to Rue 21 and we may or may not have gone a wee bit overboard. :/ Work clothes PLUS extra clothes. And its weird. Whenever I go in that store I maybe get a shirt or watch or somethin but today was like jackpot for the both of us. $220 later..........hahaha but seriously, neither of us have been shopping in who knows how long. Or if we do go its like something here something there over a course of years. So really I didn't feel bad for spending that much in one store. Plus it was totally fun. I love clothes shopping with Caleb. While we were in there we saw these Marvel shirts and we made the joke that it would be fun if we had matching pajama shirts. hahaha We ended up getting them. And I love us matching!
This picture doesn't do it justice, but, when we walked out of the store we were dying of laughter because that was the biggest bag we had ever seen chucked full. It was seriously the size of us! Big enough that it couldn't hold it's weight since the handle ripped. It's taking up two of our back seats! haha

I don't know why, but sleeping pictures are adorable.

After a nap and some down time, I took my bike and Caleb took his long board and went to the park to ride around. I kinda forgot we were in matching shirts till someone said "hey, I like your guys' shirts" hahaha oh yeah. That's why we were getting a million looks and smiles. haha After that we came back and took Libbie outside to play. We have never been able to take her off a leash because she runs off. Since winter we have been training her to be outside without one and tonight it was a success! I wish I caught her on camera running because she runs like a bunny in grass. We were dying.

Ahhh :) It's been a good day!

This was Libbie the other morning...Not at all ready to be up for the day. haha
