New job!

So i finally received that piece of paper in the mail saying i can do hair...my licence! I got offered a job for the second time and i finally decided to put my big girl panties on and took it. i didnt spend 13 grand for nothin! I still had to go through the interview process and turn in a resume and such. My interview was last thursday and i felt it was great! thanks to my little sister who was my model and let me cut her hair. Tami, my boss hired me on the spot, said i have talent, and was seriously impressed with how well i did for just barely being out of school. She seriously was so kind and made me feel good and pointed out that my talent has brought peoples attention and that its noticed. and that made me feel so good! how often do people underestimate our talents and careers? more than it should. so that was so kind of her to say. I stayed that day for my first day of training, along with friday. normally they make people do 3 days of training, and they are letting me get away with two because they felt i caught on so quickly. another plus! and today, their nail tech taught me and another girl how to do gel nails and i am excited about it! there will only be two nail techs there and im one of them! they taught us acrylics in school but not gel. so i am already expanding my education. So, starting next thursday at 11 a.m. i will officially be a Tami's Salon cosmetologist! YAY!! im so excited! i feel good and proud! and im excited where i got hired. Tami herself is like another mom. so sweet, kind, funny and just makes you feel so good about yourself. and the other girls i have met there seem awesome too. I will be doing everything there such as:
Hair (cuts and color)
Manicures
Pedicures
Gel nails
Tanning
soon to be spray tannning
soon to be eyelash extensions
full body waxing
basic massaging

So a lot of variety to keep it fun and entertaining. And as of right now its only part time so i am still keeping two of my shifts at Big Juds. so ill be working 5 days a week. here goes nothin! :)
