Moosen

It all started a couple weeks ago when Caleb came to me in the early morning and told me there was a moose outside. So i of course got up and out of bed to go take a picture of this moose.

Then two nights ago, me and caleb were in the bathroom. Our bathroom window is that fuzzy/foggy kind so you cant really see out or in. Anyways, right as i looked at the window, i see this moose figure slowly walk past it. i freak out and tell caleb "are you serious?! i think there is a freakin moose that just walked past!" i climb across the bathtub and open the window and sure enough! The same moose we saw a couple weeks ago was standing right in front of me! It walked into the neighbors yard, started eating the trees, then went to lay down. It was there all night and clearly came into our yard too seeing that there is now a massive pile of moose poop right outside our back door. 

And now today, the moose is back and has been lingering around our yard along with the neighbors all day. I think its still just outside. I hear there is the mama and baby but have yet to see the baby. As cool as it is to see this moose roaming around, i have heard it chased one dude, and its a bit scary knowing that we live on a fairly busy street with college kids walking to and from school, kids out playing, and dogs to take out. It has definitely stopped me from taking Libbie on her walk because i always take her to the park and oh! what do you know!? The moose has been there more than once too. haha Its kind of been the neighborhood drama going on right now. We are now on a constant moose hunt. We all are wondering whats going to happen. Police department are hoping it will just wander back into the woods but i honestly dont see that happening. So who knows what will happen. Only time will tell! Until then, meet our new pet we have called 'Moosen'. hahaha 

Blue Mood calls for...??

I have recently been having a blue mood and i think i finally figured out why and what to do to solve it. There have been a ton of stressed for me lately such as dealing with selling our car and getting everything done to our new car, health problems involving doctors and my surgery coming up in just a short 3 weeks (which im totally terrified for), being busy every day of my life and missing out on what feels like everything, and last but not least, the winter blues. Im cooped up in our basement apartment with tiny little windows so i cant see outside, and when i do look, its mainly just windy soggy nasty. So, the solution i have come up with is to just say, to heck with it all, and go on vacation. I am seriously just needing out, away, away from life for a while, a time where just me and my husband only can spend together, somewhere warm, no obligations, nothing planned. I just wanna get in our car and drive. Go to a place where i can lay by the pool if i want, sleep in till 2 in the afternoon if i want, eat pizza, then come back to watch a movie if i want. I just need out! I know it would probably seem like a wasted trip to some, but i just am needing a bit of a pick me up and i think this would do it. Plus, who wouldn't want to go on vacation? Here's to planning a trip :)

This last week....

This picture here, is what my life has been like lately. Babysitting, then work, then babysitting, then work. 6 days a week, plus my school on top of it. Busy busy. But, i love it :)

Ahh...Valentines day. Im not sure how i feel about this holiday. Obviously i love the people in my life, but i feel like its all forced flowers, gifts, and cards. Its like your obligated. And im not a fan of that. I would much rather receive flowers completely unexpected and have it mean so much more. Plus, valentines day should be shown to your spouse every day. Thats my opinion anyways. So me and Caleb both treat it as any other day. Is that awful of us? Caleb woke me up that morning as he was leaving for work and told me there was a moose in our back yard. Of course i jumped out of bed to go see it. I opened up our back door and there it was, in the garden eating the trees. It stared at me, and i got scared, so i ran back inside. I didnt want to risk anything because moose are mean animals. But, i kept going out to peak because i thought it was so cool that, here we are, in the middle of Rexburg, with a moose in our yard! Made me nervous as all these college kids are walking past our house going to school. It stayed out there all morning. Started the day out kinda fun though!

After all the excitement, I got ready and headed out to my parents house. We ended up going to the RV show in IF. I dont know why i like going to those so much but i think they are so fun! After that, we went to Jaliscos for lunch, then Ross where i found a couple of shirts for work. Then that night after Caleb got off work, we headed to McDonalds....thats how romantic we get for Valentines day. hahahaha I would much rather go eat out at a restaurant when its slow. 

We were taking her to grandpas, but her paws were all muddy, so this was her sad face cause i wouldnt let her on my lap while in the NEW car...I'm a mean mom, i know. She avoided me for the rest of the day. :(

My loves right here. Libbie just added some nose smears to our window. Just breakin in the new car i guess. :/ And might i add, CALEB IS DRIVING!! its a miracle. We shoulda got a nice new car years ago!! ;) 

And FINALLY today, we both had a FULL day off. No work, babysitting, school, homework, errands, NOTHING. It was seriously the best. Started out with sleeping in (which never happens seeing as one of us will always be up for work or something), we got ready and headed to IF to do a couple of exchanges from Christmas (yes i know that was a while ago), and then ended up at his grandmas to celebrate his dad's birthday. Seriously, today was wonderful. It was beyond fantastic to get out and spend it with Caleb.

And for other news. Me and caleb started Supernatural on netflix and even though i love the show, i freak myself out all the time. Its kind of a creepy show. I dont know how i watched so many scary movies in high school. 

I went to the doctor..again..story for another time, but my surgery has been scheduled. Lets do this thingy. Ready to get it done and over with.

Work is doing awesome. I love work and the girls i work with. They could seriously be my sisters. 

School is also going good. I am on the radiology portion of it. Ready to be finished with all of it.

Caleb's work is same same.

Libbie is good. Getting to be lookin like an old man with her scruffy face and eyebrows that hang to her nose. Its a good thing she gets groomed next week! 

Family pictures are tomorrow. Which i am looking forward too! I love me some photography and updated pictures! Im sure ill post them tomorrow :)

New car!

So we sold our Honda Accord because it was too small and not really practical for a family some day. So after what felt like years of car shopping we FINALLY found one. And its seriously exactly what i wanted! (I didnt think that was going to be possible--im a bit picky).

Hello 2011 Ford Escape!

When we got home, we ate food since we hadnt eaten ALLL day. We were starving, wet, and tired. after a little bit we decided to go cruise around. We could cruise around forever! makes us so giddy. We LOVE our new car!! We came back inside..and as i was getting into bed, Caleb was putting on his jacket. We went back out to ride around in it. hahaha we were out cruisin around till midnight. I love making these kinds of memories with Caleb. So fun! And Libbie loves the new car too. She approved. ;)
