and sometimes the roads are slick

all day today at school i felt like i should check my phone. and when i got home i realized i was right the whole time. obviously nothing too serious. but i will admit that this here is one of my BIGGEST fears. ever. i dont know what it is exactly but over time i have developed quite the anxiety about loved ones getting in car accidents. even if it is just a slide off or a fender bender. i will work myelf up and make myself sick if i think about it too much. so i like to be behind the wheel at all times. so today when i got home from school i asked Caleb how work was and he looked at me and just laughed. of coarse im thinking hes probably laughing because it was rediculously slow or something. he says "you must not have checked your phone?" i sure didnt. so he pulls up his pictures on his phone and shows me a pic of our car in a ditch. 

Heres the story: Caleb is driving through a school zone and slows down to 20 mph. he hits a patch of super slick ice and it throws him across the opposite side of the road and into the ditch. the end.

see. not horrible. but it still scares me cause i had a husband and dog in that car! a husband and dog i love an awful lot. so he had to get a tow truck to come pull him out (bye bye $60 :( ) and he ended up not going to work because it took the tow truck so long to get there. btw, if your wondering why there is a random pic of my dog, its cause she is watching out the window of grandpa fixing/looking at the car for damage. anyways, little things like this that happen make me value my marriage so much more. it could have been worse than it was. live every day to its fullest. Im grateful Caleb and Libbie are ok. I love Caleb more than he will ever know and more than words could ever say.

nothin big

as of late i have

1. payed off school 100% and signed up for my boards! its gettin real my friends! nervous as heck to take my written test. 3.5 weeks of school and im outta there.

2. went to neilsens with my sister.

3. still watchin all my shows.

4. got sick and had to miss 2 days of school. i was super mad cause it bumped my grad date back a day. with being sick i blacked out while working on my patron at school. had to keep leaving and i finally went home. worst day ever.

5. getting SO excited for my brother baby to come. they brought out their last ultra sound pics and shes finally getting a baby bump. its simple...babies just make me giddy and make my heart smile.

6. libbie and i went on a walk the other day and its making us even more excited for summer.

sorry my posts have been so lame. sometimes they are for myself to look back on so i can remember the little things.

will there ever....???

be a girl in this family!? that probably sounds strange. but i will tell you whats going through my head. Caleb's sister and husband found out they are having a baby boy. then today, my brother and his wife found out they are also having a boy.....for me and caleb this will be 9 nephews with 1 niece. and she lives clear in DC. im feeling a little boy trapped! im getting more nervous that me and caleb are gonna end up with the house full of girls....(i so hope thats not the case someday) ;) congrats to my brother Tyson and his wife Andrea and also Caleb's sister Amy and husband Kade! im still happy cause i love being an auntie ;)

little catchin up...

i realize as time goes on that i become worse and worse at keeping up with my blog. but i seriously think that the reason is because there has seriously been nothing going on. just the same old same old. but here are a few things that have gone on.

I am down to the final countdown of school. 6 weeks as of last saturday!!! oh my goodness. i cannot believe this time is finally here. im so beyond ready and tired of my instructors more than anything. i get along with the girls just great. but so done with the instructors and their drama. if this werent on a site where the whole world could see i would go off about them.......but yes! 6 weeks!

Caleb got to give his first priesthood blessing to our nephew last week. hes done the anointing in the past but has never had the opportunity to give the actual blessing. so that was neat to watch. proud wifey over here :)

Reason for priesthood blessing: my nephew has a growth on his eye...long story short, him and his dad flew to Philadelphia and found out today that the tumor is benign. we are all happy dancing!

My nephew got baptised last saturday and caleb and his sister amy played their violin and viola for part of it. so earlier in the week me and caleb went to his sisters house so they could practice and i got lucky and got to play with my cute little nephew the whooole time. and loved every minute of it. read stories, played basketball, and with all his little kid toys.

Visiting my family every fri and sat evening is one of my favorite things. im grateful to be able to see my family as much as i do.

Caleb has still just been working away.

I love that i have like 7 shows that come on in a week. haha and i love it. i come home from school, make dinner, and by then its usually time for another one of my shows to come on.

I took my sisters engagements and they turned out except for the fact that most of the pictures have white spots from it snowing so hard. soooo, ill probably have to re do them. but here are a few...
