Today's funny story...

So today was Calebs sisters baby blessing. We drove down to IF and when we got to the church, i opened the car door, and then locked the door. Then Caleb says "wait, we still have a few minutes lets just wait in the car". so we are sitting there and the doors are locked. Anyways, its finally time to go in and i try to open the door. But because i tried opening it from the inside with the door locked the car alarm goes off. Our remote is dead so we are just sitting in our own car with the alarm going off. We are frantically trying to figure out how to turn the dumb thing off trying everything and it is still just honking. In the middle of it, Amy (calebs sister) calls us and asks if we would run to her house just down the street to grab her childs sippy cup because he was super fussy. So finally the alarm shuts off after like a minute of going off. I had to start the car to run to amys house and when i start it, the alarm went off again! hahaha by this time we both didnt know what to do but we still had to run to amys house for the sippy cup. So caleb just tells me to drive and it will shut off eventually. haha so we are driving to her house with the alarm going off the whoooole time. All these families are walking to church and every head it staring at us like we were idiots. Im just waving at them all and was laughing so hard. We arrive at Amys house and the alarm is still going off. Caleb runs inside the house and it finally shuts off. So not knowing if it would go off again we try calling calebs mom to pick us up and of coarse she didnt answer. So we were going to be late and the child was needing his sippy cup. So i nervously turned the car back on and......yep.....you guess it, the alarm went off again! haha oh my gosh. how dumb can we be!? we've tried locking and unlocking the car, turning off and on the car, this certain key hole to unlock and lock again and nothing....finally caleb gets out of the car and unlocked the car from outside. and it shut off! seriously? thats all we had to do? oh my gosh we are so dumb. and im sure everyone else thought that too especially where it was going off WHILE driving through the neighborhood. hahaha anyways thats our embarrassing story for today. After the blessing we headed over for the luncheon which was delicious :)
