Pictures and snow

Yesterday I got to tend my sweet nephew for just a little bit. While I babysat I was finally able to take some pictures of him where he wasn't upset. I have found that I have really progressed in pictures and am happy with how a lot of them are turning out anymore. I still need a nice camera but it has definitely become a hobby of mine.

Probably my favorite one! Absolutely precious.

I just love him! So cute. It's weird how I see so much of my dad in him and sometimes even my grandpa Luthy.

Last night me and Caleb were up late. I kept seeing all these posts on Facebook that it was snowing. Since we live in a basement apartment, we can't really see outside. So I opened the door and sure enough, snow! And for the first time ever, I was excited to see it! I had to show Caleb because he LOVES the snow. I told him to look outside. We opened our door and it was seriously so pretty! I love how it lights up the earth a bit with everything white. There is something peaceful about snow falling. We had to go outside and stand in it. It was freeing cold, but so pretty.
Although this picture is kinda blurry, It still means a lot to me. Pictures capture moments. And I love to capture all the moments I can so I can forever have those memories to look back on. Sometimes Caleb grumbles about how many pictures I take, but even to this day, I will look back at silly, sad, great, and fun memories that I sometimes forget about until I look at the picture. And I will forever be grateful for the pictures I take. Like this moment. I'm sure it's one I would maybe forget about, but because I have it, I will now always remember that me and Caleb had a great day and it ended with a midnight kiss in the first snowfall of 2014.

Happy birthday babe!

Caleb turned 25 today! A quarter of a century old. It has been a lot of fun being with him for the past 5 birthdays. I can't believe we've done 5 of them together! It's crazy to me! I swear just yesterday I was in high school. I guess that's what happens when you are in love and havin fun--time flies! Anyways, I kept asking Caleb for weeks what he wanted to do for his birthday. His response every time was "stay home". I guess it's kinda true, when you work all the time and you get a day off, you pretty much don't want to do anything. Or at least anything that lasts all day. So that left me in a pickle. I wanted to at least do something fun for him. We kept it simple, but still had a great day! Last night or I guess early this morning around 2 a.m. we were up. I hung up a happy birthday banner in the kitchen so Caleb could see it all day today. We finally went to sleep around 4 in the morning..:/.. don't judge. We slept in late and took our time getting ready. After we were ready, I had Caleb open his presents. He is going to buy himself some technology something for his computer, but I still wanted to get him something.

I didn't get a picture of what he got. But I gave him some new sweats, a couple of new shirts, and his favorite treats. Rice krispies, peanut m&ms, and wafer cookies.

After opening his gifts, we loaded up, dropped Libbie off at his parents house, and then headed to Idaho Falls to hang out. We didn't stay long and the MAIN reason we went down was so he could get Panda Express. Something we never get because, #1. It's discusting. #2. We live a half hour away from it. and #3. It's discusting. haha So he loaded up enough for a couple of meals and home we came.

We have now just been hanging out. He has been playing the new Call of Duty game and loves it.

Happy birthday babe. I love you with all my heart.

Catching up

Here's a small random post of what has been going on with us...

I have been feelin a little crafty lately. Although I am getting a little frustrated. I have a pile of home decor and crafts to hang up or put out but have seriously no more room left in our little apartment. Right here in front of the picture frames was the last spot. Another reason buying a house could not come soon enough!

I got to babysit my sweet nephew. Love his guts.

Love me some snuggle time where we watch you tube, or a show, movie, whatever,

Ready to go to Kash's baby blessing.

My sister blessed her boy this last Sunday.

Last week at work, I went back to check my phone. When I opened it I realized I had a text from my dad. For years, us kids tried to get him to text and he always said it was easier to pick up the phone and call ya. He never knew how to text, and had zero interest. So when I saw this text from my dad, it nearly made me cry happy tears. So thoughtful, and so sweet. Apparently, he now knows how to text! haha

This was how festive we got for halloween this year! hahaaha I was dying!

Libbie HATED  life with her witch costume. And she totally was ticked at me for putting it on her. haha I can't help it that I'm a tease! Don't worry, it only stayed on long enough for a picture. ;)

And that's all of the random happenings!

Nephews

Today I got to go pick up one of my nephews to give his mama a little break. I was so excited. He is seriously the best little guy ever. I want him as my own. I love him that much. I picked him up, did a quick errand, then headed over to my sisters house to see her and her baby.
Arlen right now is into giving kisses. He loves his cousin and is always touching him and today gave him lots and lots of kisses. So freakin adorable.

It was a great day just me and my nephews and sister. Seriously they are to die for!! Guh! I just can't get enough of them!

Fall family pictures

Yesterday my family drove over to twin bridges and took some family pictures. Some of them are from my digital camera and others from my phone. So they aren't the best quality but they turned out decent enough for some updated family pictures. I am definitely investing in a new camera. It was such a hoot!
One of my favorites. It's crazy to see how much we have changed over the course of 4+ years!

My beautiful sister!

My brother Tyson, his wife, and their son.

I could steal him! I hope when we have kids, that they turn out like him. haha such a happy, easy going, funny boy.

My favorite family pic.

My sister took these and had the cord in front of the lens :/ oh well. still a cute one.

I'll take a wet slobbery kiss any day ;)

After we got back from taking pictures, we had dinner and looked through all our pictures. It was at dinner time that my brother Tyson announced that he and his wife Andrea are expecting baby number 2! I'm so happy for them, From the way Arlen looks at Kash, I know he will be a fun big brother. And that pretty much sums up the night!
